Armie Hammer is now back in Los Angeles following the death of Michael Armand Hammer, his father.
The actor, who is 36 years old, was photographed with Misty Hammer on Thanksgiving Day in Los Angeles.
Armie was photographed in a casual outfit, including a gray T-shirt, blue jeans and a San Francisco baseball cap. She also wore flip-flops while shopping at Bristol Farms with Misty.
As he left the store with his stepmom and large bouquet of yellow flowers, the Hollywood actor was carrying a paper bag as well as a carton of drinks.
Misty chose to be comfortable for the outing by wearing a green zip up jacket over a gray shirt and black leggings. She also wore white sneakers.
As they walked down the streets, it appeared that the two were casually chatting. Hammer was caught on camera smiling as he responded to his stepmom.
Armie’s father, who had been suffering from long-term illnesses, died on Sunday. TMZ reported the news first, saying that the businessman had been suffering from cancer for some time. He was 67.
Michael is survived by Misty, his wife and two sons with his ex-wife DruAnn Mobley, Armie, and Viktor, 34.
The fortune of his grandfather Armand Hammer was passed to the late business titan. The oil company Occidental Petroleum was owned by the latter.
A documentary called “House of Hammer” was released recently, detailing the allegations of abuse against “Call Me By Your Name”, actor “Call Me By Your Name” and his family.
Armie, in addition to the controversial documentary was sued by American Express regarding a $67,000 unpaid balance.
His camp argued that the unpaid balance came from Hammer’s joint account that he had with Elizabeth Chambers. It would be settled when the couple have finalized their divorce.
Variety was informed by an anonymous source that Armie was insolvent after his Hollywood projects were canceled due to multiple allegations of sexual abuse and cannibalism.
Hammer, who was eventually dropped by WME, reportedly tried to make ends meets by selling timeshares in the Cayman Islands after being fired by the agency.
