Due to this, ‘Street Fighter 6’ is expected to launch soon

Capcom previously stated that “Street Fighter 6,” next installment of the fan-favorite fighting game series, will not be released until 2023. However, a recent development seems to suggest that the game may soon be available for purchase or that news is coming about it.

The South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee, (GRAC) recently rated “Street Fighter 6”. The Korean Rating Board has given the game a 15+ rating, meaning it is suitable to players aged 15 and over.

It is likely that the rating is very similar to the ESRB M-rating label. According to the Korean Rating Board, the rating was given because of the characters’ sexuality and violence during matches.

While a rating isn’t new, it does mean that the game will be released soon. A rating is usually awarded to a project at the end of its development phase, which indicates that it is close to being released.

For instance, Sony’s “Horizon Forbidden West” rating was in November 2021. It was released in February 2022. “God of War Ragnarok” was rated May 2022, and released six months later in December 2022.

“Street Fighter 6′ has a release window that will occur sometime in 2023. Based on Capcom’s most recent financial results it noted that one “major title”, presumably “Resident Evil 4”, is planned for the rest of its financial years. The “Street Fighter,” upcoming game, will not be available before March 2023.

Many people speculate about when Capcom will announce the release date for the fighting game. There are two options.

Japanese videogame developer Capcom could have its own showcase to announce the date for “Street Fighter 6” as it normally does. Capcom could also make the most of The Game Awards, scheduled for December 8.

This latest development may be welcome news for fans, but we only have the 2023 release window. As Capcom has yet to make an official announcement, any leaks concerning “Street Fighter 6” should be treated as speculation at this point.
