How Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Celebrated Their First Thanksgiving Together

Jennifer Lopez shared an image of her and Ben Affleck’s first Thanksgiving together.

Lopez, 53, shared photos and clips via Instagram on Saturday to show her fans how she spent Thanksgiving weekend with Affleck and her children, friends, and family.

“This Is… Thanksgiving Holiday” she captioned her blog post. She was referring to her upcoming album, “This Is Me…Now”, which will be her first major album in eight years.

A photo of Lopez’s 14 year-old son Max cuddling up to his stepdad Affleck while he slept was included in the photo dump. The photo also includes Emme, Emme’s twin and Max’s daughter.

The singer of “Let’s Get Loud” took several selfies with Lynda Lopez (her sisters) during the event and shared them online.

Lopez invited Steve Mackey, her vocal coach to join her at the festivities. She uploaded a clip where Mackey is frying something in a pan while she eats one of the products.

Lopez shared more pictures from the group’s beachfront holiday, revealing that her mom Guadalupe “Lupe” Rodríguez and manager Benny Medina were also present at the Thanksgiving gathering.

Lopez and Affleck were married in a private ceremony in Las Vegas in July. This was just over a year after their first encounter. They married in August in Georgia with their families and close friends.

In a recent interview with Vogue, the actress of “Maid in Manhattan”, who shares her 14 year-old twins, Marc Anthony, opened up about Affleck and her blended family.

In the interview, Lopez praised Jennifer Garner — Affleck’s ex-wife and the mother of his three kids, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Sam, 10 — for being an “amazing co-parent,” noting that the exes “work really well together.”

“The transition is something that should be done with great care,” she said about blending their families. They have so many emotions. They’re teens. It’s working out really well so far. I want to create a family where my children have a new friend in me, and my kids have an ally in him. Someone who loves them and can see the bigger picture.

Lopez was said to have “a friendship” the “13 Going on 30” star.

“Now that Jen has been co-parenting, Jen and Jen have been getting to know one another better and have formed an entirely new friendship,” an anonymous source said to Us Weekly earlier in the month. Garner, 50, added that Lopez is “so sweet” to her children with Affleck.

The source said that they really do enjoy one another.

Lopez also announced Thursday that her new album, “This is Me…Now”, was released. It comes 20 years after Lopez’s Affleck-inspired album, “This is Me…Then.”

The album will include 13 tracks including “This Is me…Now,” Dear Ben pt. To be Yours” and “Midnight Trip to Vegas”, to name just a few.
