Kanye West Makes a remark about Elon Musk’s decision to not reinstate Alex Jones to Twitter

• Elon Musk, Twitter’s owner, has restored several controversial accounts including Kanye West’s.
• West criticized him for not reinstating the account of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
• West claims Musk “picks and chooses who can be on the platform.”

Ye, who was banned from Twitter for making antisemitic remarks and had his account suspended by billionaire Elon Musk, decided to contact him.

Ye, also known as Kanye West in the past, claimed he has an “issue with Musk” for not reinstating InfoWars host Alex Jones. a 30-second video Clip with watermarks reading “@Ali” or “BANNED.VIDEO.” Ron Filipkowski, a criminal defense lawyer who tracks right wing extremists, posted the video on Twitter Saturday.

West stated that Alex Jones was a Christian. You have someone who doesn’t believe in Christ as Lord buying an American media outlet, and then picking and choosing which people can be on that platform. Jesus Christ is Lord.”

One person spoke as West spoke, and said “Right.” In the background, another person says “Amen.”  

Musk thinks himself a “free speech absolutist” and has reinstated quite a few controversial right-wing figures — including Rep. Marjorie Talor Greene, former President Donald Trump, and “manosphere” influencer Andrew Tate. Musk has not stopped Musk from restoring Alex Jones, a right-wing conspiracy theorist who detested Sandy Hook. quoting Matthew 19:14, a bible verse, in a tweet referencing him. 

Musk said, “My firstborn died in my arms.” Musk spoke in an emotional admonition, “I felt his final heartbeat.” tweet. “I have no mercy upon anyone who would use children’s deaths for politics, gain, or fame.”

Jones previously spoke out about the matter via Rumble – a right-wing video sharing platform.

“Don’t blame Musk at the end of the day because he didn’t bring me back,” Jones said on November 18. “I am the most controversial person in the world, because I am the most threatening to this new world order. Don’t expect him not to bring me back from day one, as he must first take control of the platform.
